The year 2020 means twenty-five years of Fervid! The band is celebrating this with the release of a new album loaded with brand new songs, but it has also been a good excuse for Fervid to check the cellars, attics and cupboards for Neglected Songs, Rarities and (Should Have Been) Smash Hits!

And boy did they find some great songs: Nearly forgotten singles, completely forgotten b- sides, and lots of great recordings, like the first ever recording of that Fervid classic JFK or the single version of that pop gem She Breaks the Clouds.

There are also some old favourites on this record that have not been released before. After chasing the demo for nearly twenty years, The Night Falls For Aira has been included for you to relish in its imperfection. And how could the band improve on the first recordings of songs like My Tropical Island, with its brilliantly laid back feel, or Wrangler Boy, with its deliciously melodic bass line and over-the-top drama?

So sit back, relax and dig into this small but sweet selection of songs from the Fervid archives.
